Nobody can believe that any new baby can weigh in at 20 pounds, but the Texan just shrugs, "That's about average down home, folks. Like I said, my boy's a typical Texas baby boy."
Congratulations showered the new father from all around, with many exclamations of "WOW!" One woman even fainted due to sympathy pains.
Two weeks later the Texan returns to New York City on some more business and goes back to the same bar. The bartender asks, "Say, aren't you the father of that typical Texas baby who weighed 20 pounds at birth? Everybody's been making bets about how big he'd be in two weeks, so how much does he weigh now?"
The proud father answers, "15 pounds."
The bartender is puzzled and a little suspicious. "What happened? He already weighed 20 pounds on the day he was born!"
The Texas father takes a slow swig from his long-neck beer, wipes his lips on his shirt sleeve, leans into the bartender and proudly says,
"Had'm circumcised."
