I was wondering which realy is the best or if it is just a riders pref. Is the difference really all that noticeable, or is it a minor thing. I have a new fatboy waiting for me as soon as I decide. What do you guys think. Thanks for the help and your oppinion.

I think I'd go FI without even thinking about it.

Sounds cool either way, you're getting a new bike!

It is a big thing. Not only do you get more HP per cc with fuel injection, the engine runs better. It is posible to put more cubic inches into a V twin with FI. The rule used to be 2.5 litres in an inline four with carburetors, after that there was balance, duribility and engineering problems. That is why 1.2liters (1200cc) stayed the norm for carb V twin for a while. The 2.3 litre Triumph 3 cylender has to have FI to make it work. But when FI breaks it is expencive electrical, microprocessor, wiring, injectors and too complicated for a casual mechanic.
