Like most of the male bikers here, beer is my beverage of choice. However, some of the ladies DO seem to like the change of a frozen daquiri when summer heat rolls around. And guys, you might even enjoy one yourself. This is my own custom recipe and it ain't half bad.....

This is easy: You'll need a large bottle of rum
A large bag of ice cubes
a couple of banannas (or a bag of
strawberries.)
several 8 ounce cans of frozen limeaid
concentrate.
A small carton of lime sherbert
A blender

1. Start the blender on low, and add just a handfull
of ice cubes. Dump in the frozen limeaid mix.

2. Using the empty limeaid can as a measure, pour
in 8 - 10 ounces of rum.

3. Increase the blender to med. speed and add
more ice cubes until it's half full.

4. Add a bannana (or) about a cup of strawberries.

5. With the blender on high, keep adding ice cubes
until the mixture thickens and stops, or you
fill it to the top. Make sure all the ice is crushed.

6. Scoop a large spoon of sherbert into a standard
low tumbler or coffee mug. Pour the daquiri over
the sherbert.

7. Enjoy. You MAY need to use a spoon. These
things are so freakin' cold your fillings will ache.
The sherbert is the treat at the daquiri's cold
bottom. WARNING, these little muthas will sneak
up on you...especially if you've used 151 proof
rum!!!!

Sounds like a great recipe, I'll have to give it a try.
I just need to remember to keep the bike parked after drinking. :ktfo:

JFN, you are on the money. Trust me, after a few of these frozen jewels there should be NO machinery in your life for the rest of the evening.

Oh yeah, and frozen lemmon-aide concentrate works just about as well as the lime-aide. It's a little less tart, but just as good.

Enjoy!!!!
