:moped: I ride a Kawasaki Y2Klr 650 & a BMW R1100GS for Dual Sport, a 77 R100S & a 02Triumph TBA for touring. Looking to trade the Triumph for another dual sport.

Glad to have you with us here at Riderinfo.com, mff. It's good to have you aboard, and good to have yet another BMW driver here. I was tired of being a minority. ('80 R100S)

How do you like your GS? It looks like the ideal exploration machine to me.....

I guess it couldn't hurt.

I have put 100K on the GS, has left me walking only twice. Really enjoy it on dirt roads but if the going gets ruff - it has to be the Klr.

This is Yamaharley guy, but I sold the Yamaha V-Star and bought an 05 BMW K1200LT. I love a LONGGGG ride, like 500 mile/day. Put over 12K miles since Nov 04. Am interested in the 4-corners ride... San Ysidro, CA, Key West, FL, Madawaska, ME, Blaine, WA, in 21 days. Will try to make that ride in 06.
Catch y'all later.

Cool, you'll enjoy the ride. I did it in '90 but it took me 22 days as I attended a rally along the way, did a lot of sight seeing, etc. then when I had bike problem a couple days before I should have been to my finally corner I didn't make it. Oh well, it was a great time anyway :)
