Hypercharger on VLX

Just installed a Hypercharger on my 88 VLX Shadow.
With the adapter kit from Bikercom.com it was fairly simple--bike runs great with no carb jetting. However, when we went to hook up the vacuum hose to make the butterflies actually function, we realized that we couldn't find the bikes' connection.. leading us to wonder if 1)it actually has a vacuum system, and 2) if the little 'nipple' on the lower right of the carb that looks like it could be drilled..is where one would put a vacuum hose.

Anyone know anything about this?

I would get on the phone with the supplier or manufacturer before I follow anyone's general advice to drill that!

That's why it's not drilled...;-)
I've got an email in to Bikercom, but since Kuryakyn doesn't make one specifically for
that bike, I can't imagine that they'll have any info.
I'm next going to call a Honda dealer or repair shop..or both.
