Newby Wants Exhaust Advice

Hey, everyone.
I'm new here and a new rider (since Oct 2004). I own a 2005 Honda Shadow Spirit 750. I really like the bike just as it is. But I wouldn't mind if the exhaust were just a little louder. I like the way the stock pipes look so I don't want to replace them.
Any suggestions?

I'm gonna leave this for someone with honda experience, however, I want to say that just opening a pipe may give you noise, but on some bikes, it will cause a low end power drop. I like my low end. :)
