just checking to find out how many trikers are out there. We just (10 months ago) bought a goldwing trike conversion by Champion and love it. It is great for touring and especially in tourist area's with all the stop & go it's great. Love to hear comments and we are in south west florida area and can ride almost all year.
Florida is great for riding year round. We are lucky.

We also have a place in Okeechobee for a weekend get away and we have run into a lot of great people biking it in that area.

Not a trike rider myself, but I got a couple brothers who have, for various reasons, become unable to ride two wheels, so I am looking for ways to get them back in the wind. At Myrtle Beach fall rally, I saw quite a few of the HD trikes, and must say, I liked the looks of them ;)

I can still ride two wheels but we 0.do a lot of camping and take our trike in the camper(toy Box) and most these places have lots of traffic and the stop & go wears us out now that we are in our mid sixties. It keeps us up with the crowd and it is a lot of fun.you are going to see more & more somewhat handi capped and older riders going to Trikes.
There are a lot of different conversions out there. .I have always preferred Goldwing but there are a lot of nice Harley kits. Tell you friends to look at them.
I just got back from a week in the Ft. Walton Beach area. I don't know about where you guys are, but people drive like maniacs there, and they're not gray heads lol! I'd be leary of riding a bike, let alone, not wearing a helmet lol!

It does seem like we have a lot of crazy's :puke: on the road here in Florida. I think it's that we have a lot of tourist and they are trying to figure out where they are going and tie up traffic , then you have the locals that don't have patience and they over react and on & on. :grenade: Just have to be on guard .

I left Florida about 3 months ago for the Foothills of The Smokies in Maryville, TN.
It is great up here.. literally minutes to the Mtns. and the National Parks.. The Dragon, which I personally try to stay away from, is just down the road.
I thought I would see more bikes in FL than here in East TN but I have to tell you, there is an unbelievable amount of M/C Traffic and I think I have seen more Trikes in the last 3 months than in my entire life.
I have my old 1200 Wing and the New 650 V-Star we got for my G/F but now she is wanting a Trike.
She saw the California Side Car Trike I mentioned in another post and fell in love with it, I was almost jealous... LOL.. but they were sharp.. saw 4 of them in Cherokee and all were 1800 Wings in Black Cherry..
So if anyone is coming up this way and wants a riding partner for a day or so... let me know..
That includes you Smeg... But no Dragon unless it is a weekday.. LOL

does seem like we have a lot of folks moving to Ga, tn,from Florida lately. We went to Dollywood a couple years ago and it was beautiful all through that area. I can understand that but I dislike cold weather. but now we have another hurricane coming in on us. Guess I better buy some cold weather gear and we have thought about moving .:moped:
