Went to Nuveo Progreso, MX early Friday AM so I could watch bikes arrive from American side of border. Approximately 15,000 bikes and what a show! The town was packed with bikers and bikes. We walked across the International bridge and the parking lots on the American side were almost vacant, never seen it like that. The business district was closed to vehicle traffic except motorcycles. Every cantina was packed and the local venders had tons of fun stuff on display and sale. Fun had by all!

It was interesting that the lagerest majority of bikes were HD riden by both American and local Nationlists. I saw two Roadstars and a couple dozen V-Stars. Quite a few Goldwings and a few Vulcans. A few Sport bikes. Lots of customs!

I didn't ride due to the crowds and family obligations but both the trip into Mexico and the Rally on the island was a real fun experience, one that all of you should try next time.
