I'm a 6'1'' male, weighing about 200lbs. I went into a honda dealership and they said a 750cc would be good since I am a beginner. Is this bike too small for me? Thanks, Bill

BILL ... :welcome: to the site. as anyone here will tell you .... the bike has to fit you not just you to the bike. you have to be comfortable and know you will be able to control the bike. shopping around with all the dealers will help in you making your decisoin

What you like is what you should drive. 100cc or 1800cc it doesn't matter.

Think of it like buying a chair.Find one that is comfortable for you.As far as CC's go there are some bad ass 750's out there.750 cc should give you plenty of power.

Bill - I am going through the same process myself at the moment. I am looking for a bike and I am visiting every possible dealer that is in my area. I am open to everything: Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki - you name it. Just yesterday I went to a Honda dealer myself and was test driving several machine. One was a CBF 600, another one a Hornet 900. Then again they also had a Shadow 750. As said, just looking at it won't do. Ride them and see how does it feel to you. Does it have the right height, do you feel compfy on it. As you know some of them have adjustable seats and stearing depending on the drivers height. I know it is kind of tough to make a decision because it's a lot out there. But take your time, it will pay off. Also it is a lot of fun testing and ride them.
Ride safe! :bike:
