lately I have or the bike has developed a backfire, when backin off the throttle. Any insight to the problem?

Have you changed anything on the bike lately... exhust or intake?

no just played with the idle
after posting I read further in the posts and discovered the idle can effect this problem. So maybe i will not try to have it idle quite so low and see if that makes any differance

It seems probs (backfire, hard 'hot start', etc.) appear if idle is very much lower than specs (950-1050rpm's)
