I am kinda looking for a 42mm mukuni flatslide carb for a 2002 sportster. I can`t afford a new one but if anyone has a used one or a s&s that would fit I would like to here from you. Can`t remeber if I need a E or G but I`m sure someone will. case99@iowatelecom.net

Only advice I'd give on an S&S is get one with and accellerator pump.

for a sporster go with an "E" a "G" will be too large even for a 1200 cc. S&S carbs are to bikes what holleys are to v-8's, they are great but you have to tune them to your application. I've found it easier now then in the past to buy these used, I suppose it's because the previous owner didnt tune the S & S to his bike and as a result was unhappy with it, so they go get a new mikuni (42 or 45) these will work in more situations (because of the variable venturi) without their hands getting dirty.
