100% stock, unrestored, unmolested, completely original 1975 Harley Davidson FLH Electra Glide 74 ci/1200 with 29,000 original miles. I've owned alot of vintage Harleys and this old girl has to be one of my best finds. The bike came out of Green Bay, WI. It's original owner found himself at the wrong end of a gun barrel- on purpose! His family was obviously very distraught and parked the bike in their pole barn in the late 70's where it sat...and sat... until an employee from a local HD dealership came along. Everyone has heard "barn" stories and almost every town has had a barn or two with an old harley in it- or so the story goes. Man, I've been on a few wild goose chases myself! This one just happened to be true- guess sometimes you get lucky. The bike was purchased by the dealership and it pretty much served as a novelty on the showroom floor and was ridden in the local parades. It's apparant that it was well taken care of. This scoot runs great and is mechanically very strong. I've put nearly a thousand miles on her over the last month or two and would not hesitate to ride this bike anywhere- forget about the silly AMF stuff you've heard cause it don't apply here. The paint and decals (all original) are in very good to excellent condition. The color according to HD is Sunburst Burgundy (I call her 'ol Moby Grape). I still find myself sitting in my garage looking at this scoot sometimes for hours. A man and his bike is a beautiful thing. I really hate to sell- but I ride with a club and do alot of riding and it's getting tougher to keep up with the evo/twincam guys on the long rides (I also feel a little guilty putting miles on her). Well, long story short I bought a Fat Boy and can't keep both- wife says sell. Thanks for letting me share my scoot with you. I will answer all inquiries. No offense, but if you're a tire kicker and want to bullsh*t go visit your local HD dealership. For pics see: http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/v291/kbosman/
