I bought a jet kit for my bike and I am wondering just how hard would it be to install it myself, I have no real knowlege about motorcycle motors at all really other then where and what the basic components are. I am looking in the container and seeing a couple drill bits and a few other little components and thinking maybe this isn't as easy as I though. so if you have installed one and can tell me a little it would be greatly appreciated.

it is a 05 sazuki blvd S83 or vs1400k5, And from what I have gathered in 04 it was the intruder they just made a couple changes renamed it blvd.
I am leaving the stock exhaust on it for now I do plan on changing that to but just not at the moment,
I live in Warwick right now.

I've only done 2 jet kits one on a vulcan 1500 and one on a Suzuki drz400sm . If you choose to do it your self read the instructions carefuly and take your time. It's not easy if you have never seen one or done one yourself but not impossible. If you are dealing with two carbs be sure to do them exactly the same or it will not run correctly. Oh yeah when you drill out the seal on the carb don't push to hard you only want to go thru the seal. One other thing I would not change the jetting until I had the new exhaust and a new air breather. The motor has to breathe more with a jet kit. Good Luck .

Don'tnow anything about suzukis (I have a Harley) but if it's anything like my Harley, you're gonna have to do some adjusting to comensate for the back pressure with the pipes for the new flow. They are usually not bad to put in, but unless you have made the proper carboration adjustments, you'll spit and pop and your plugs may burn more unclean...
