What is involved with regearing the speedo on '06 v-star 650 so that it is not off? Is it really worth it?

Is it really worth it? betabilly 08-01-2006, 04:22 PM My '07 Classic's speedo is off too, took a ride today with a portable GPS srapped to the handlebars, is off by 7mph at speeds above 50. Less than 60 miles on the odometer and already issues to resolve. bboyd37 08-02-2006, 07:19 AM I am on my third Honda and have not had one yet that the speedometer is correct; I rely on the GPS. gobo 08-02-2006, 07:40 AM My '07 Classic's speedo is off too, took a ride today with a portable GPS srapped to the handlebars, is off by 7mph at speeds above 50. Less than 60 miles on the odometer and already issues to resolve. Did you notice whether the odometer is also off or is it just the speed indication? betabilly 08-02-2006, 12:32 PM I'll have to check on that, have 2 other yams and their speedos are right on. |
