i think i may have seen the sun for a minute or two yesterday. at least i think i did..

I may have just missed a patch of fair weather to ride home in. The satalite time lapse photos are a good thing to have. After so long, 30% chance of rain seemed the best there is. Worth the risk of getting wet for a ride, and the bike washing to get the road dirt spray off thereafter.

:lightnin: My socks, boots and pantlegs got soaked. Water ran down the seat and got in my shorts. Water got in my gloves, water ran down my neck front and back. Water got in the ignition system and made it miss. It was much colder than normal today. There was spactacular lightning strikes and lightning all across the sky. It was worth it to ride after 10 days of rain.

Well its still raining. We now have a flood watch and I live on the river. wooohooo! I have a guy at work that rides everyday, rain or shine. I saw another guy on his bike this morning too. I guess if I wanted to spend money on a rain suit it wouldn't be bad, but then again I make enough money to drive my truck 8 miles to work once and awhile.

It rains overnight and into rush hour in the morning. Then on the way to work, the sun comes out as if to say, Ha Ha, the bike is at home and you are stuck in a cage. Then it rains again just before PM rush hour. Just enough to cause accidents on my route home and make me wish I was on the bike and able to get past all of the madness. I knew that there should have been a man, a biker man, put in charge of the weather.
