We have a bunch of military folks in Dahlongea (they have a Army Ranger training camp here). I have a lot of respect for the men who put their lives on the line for the rest of us (and not much patience for those who dis-respect their service).

Here's the website for anyone wanting more info on the Patriot Guard Riders.
http://patriotguard.org/Home/tabid/53/Default.aspx
You don't have to be a veteran or military to join. I am not a veteran and I proudly ride with PGR. Anyone can and should join.
Without going into a lot of detail, let me just say that you have to be there and see what the protestors are doing to really understand...they're a bunch of sick assholes.
They reminded me of some of the types you see joined up in cults like Charles Manson's gang...they're puppets...but the point is, our men and women that get killed in combat...or anywhere while serving America, deserve to be buried with honor for the heroic efforts they gave. The protestors try to disgrace the families of the dead soldiers by shouting profanities and stomping on the American flag. The Guard shields the family and friends attending the funeral from the protestors, and gives nothing but the utmost respect to them and the fallen American heros.
Check out the website and consider joining.
The only reason these jerks are allowed to do these protests is because of the freedoms that the UNITED STATES MILITARY defends and protects for them.We owe our entire way of life in America to those that have fought for our freedom. Don't let anyone ever take the honor away from those brave souls....

I heard on Fox news (Bill O'Reilly) that this bunch of idiots consists of one family. It turns out they have their own family-church and are well aware of what they can and cannot do during their protests as some of them are lawyers. They have succesfully sued some people who wanted them out of the way.

What an disgusting slap in the face. To protest at a funeral for a vet who gave their life in defense of our country, whether it be by choice or not. I am so sick of the bleeding heart left wing communists, oops I meant liberals.

That was a great news article about the Patriot Guard Riders, as a vet USN 79-83 it would be an honor to ride with them, I'll have to look up there southern californian chapter and see about hooking up with them

Chaos....just click this...

You can register there and then go inside the site to find the local area you need. There aren't chapters per se. The units identify by state more than anything else.
You can register in the upper right of the home page...
