Here's a site many of you might be interested in. www.soldiersangels.org.

You can adopt a soldier for the holidays, or throughout the year. It seems like, from what I read, they never have enough of what they need. Things like blankets for the wounded, and sandscarfs for the active are needed all the time.

You can also purchase care packages for your adopted soldier on that site. Most the packages are different kinds of food, they don't get the treats we enjoy here. And there's a lot of comfort in sweet treats.

Here's a description from the angels site:
Military Care Packages

Whether your soldier is learning the ropes at boot camp, or out and about in a foreign land, getting a care package from home gives them the knowledge that people are thinking about them - that's a huge pick-me-up. Our orders are shipped in white boxes, have colorful fill to brighten their day and include a card personalized with a note from you. Our top priorities are quality of food and products that go into our care packages, fantastic presentation and top value for your dollar. One of our most popular military care packages is From the Family, which is a unique gift pack that is put together specifically for your soldier

GREAT Thought Hop !!!!

They were just talking about that on one of the Radio Talk Shows that I listen too !!!

Everyone should try and give to our soldiers, no matter what their beleif in the War is !!!

If it weren't for our fighting men and women, the peace-niks wouldn't be able to voice their opinion !!!

Freedom DOES'NT come Free !!!!
