I have an 03 FLHT with K&N air filter (holes drilled in back plate), Jost tube and Sceamin' Eagle Race Slip ons. Lots of opinions on wheter an HD breather kit will provide any gain in torque. Anyone have any experience with this setup?

Hi Underdog...Holes drilled in the back of carberator backing plate is some benefit, but you really need to go to the high flow filter kit.Your going in the right direction, more air, better exaust flow, now you need to get it on a Dyno to be sure you have the proper amount of fuel flowing.....Good luck, and hope that helped Ya!:moped: I have an 03 FLHT with K&N air filter (holes drilled in back plate), Jost tube and Sceamin' Eagle Race Slip ons. You will notice the difference from the flow kit (of course, you are going to have to have the carb adjusted or EFI re-mapped). If you've got EFI, consider a performance controller unit (PowerCommander, etc.). I did performance pipes, PowerCommander, and Stage 1 kit at the same time on my RK (so it's hard for me to seperate out each piece), but the total made a BIG difference in performance (I can't stand riding a stock Harley anymore).
