Accident

Well, I thought it would never happen to me but a car cut me off earlier this week causing me to hit another car and lose control of my motorcycle. I was doing ~ 45 mph on the expressway when this happened. I bounced off the side of a car on my left side and layed the bike down on the right side. Lukily, I just suffered a couple of scrapes and bruises and a bruised ego. My bikes going into the shop with little damage in a couple of days. I was able to ride home after the accident. The car that cut me off left the scene of course. Wish I could catch that asswipe.

Just put the bike in the shop. The dealer said 8 to 12 weeks for a front fender.....bummer!

dealers suck. how about after market?

sorry to hear about your accident. We just went through the same thing. Breed (my husband) was sitting at a red light Tuesday night and the car behind him just did not stop. Rear ended him pretty bad. He's gonna be alright, it will take a while. What is up with people. I was next to him. could not believe my eyes!!!

Sitting at a light is a dangerous thing these days. I'm considering putting the whole stop sign on the back of my bike!

Thanks for the advice Thor, but now the dealer says I might get a fender in a couple of weeks since my bike is black (popular color I guess).
