Definately bring some raffle tickets if you can. I'll buy one (possibly... depending upon what "reasonable" is) to give to a buddy of mine who's Dyna got stolen a couple of years ago. I think I posted pics in this forum of the parts that were recovered from it.

It'd make his day to win a new Dyna.

You can put me down for a ticket too. It is great to hear that Gator HD is supporting this event.

Tickets are still available but going fast.

You can get tickets at the Gumbo Run (http://www.riderinfo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6440) by Bikers Against Child Abuse on August 11th, 2007.

The raffle proceeds benefit the 2007 Lake County Motorcyclists Toy Run (http://www.riderinfo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6594) Fund Raiser for Kids Incorporated and the Haven Spouse Abuse Center, both worthy causes that operate in and for our community.

We do not run the Toy Run or the Motorcycle Raffle. We didn't sell tickets for the raffle. We only pass on flyer information. We know as much as you do at this point about the raffle which is what we were all told on Saturday.

I'm sure further details will come to light soon and when they do, if we get them, we will pass it on.

Again, the Toy Run and Bike Raffle are not a riderinfo.com events or fund raisers, we only cover the events to write about them and publish photos depicting the wonderful support by the Lake County area community of KIDS Inc and The Haven.

I heard from Gumbo today. He is working on an announcement as to where exactly the raffle stands. I expect to hear from him very soon, however I don't have an exact time or date.

We will post what we can as soon as we get the information.

As for the details like the rules and winning numbers, we have not received a copy to pass along unfortunately or we would be glad to share it. As you know, riderinfo.com is free and can be accessed by anyone to post info. We can also repost info, if so requested, from email. It does not appear that those options were taken advantage of however.

We hope we can post an announcement as to when a drawing will take place and where. We will do everything possible in any circumstance to post the winning number and such that is made public at the time of the drawing though. So stay tuned.

I thought it was supposed to be anounced in Leesburg on the 24th. That was what the cat told me at the Webster swapmeet where I bought my ticket.

If anyone hears anything post it on here and I'll do the same if I find any info.

The word from Gumbo as of today is that the drawing will take place, tentatively, in two weeks. The drawing will take place at Gator Harley-Davidson on HWY 411 in Leesburg Florida.

As soon as Gumbo gives us an exact day and time, we will pass it on.
