I think it sucks that this is gonna be a "motorcycle" statistic.
A low-speed chase ended in a worse criminal charge than a Coolidge man was evading on Saturday.
Coolidge Police Sergeant Mario Palacios attempted to stop Preston Wutzke Nov. 27 when he reportedly saw Wutzke driving an 80cc Honda motorcycle south along Kenworthy Road. Police say the motorcycle had no front or rear lights and no license plate.

According to police reports, Wutzke refused to stop and attempted to elude Palacios, who at one point broke off pursuit in an attempt to set up a road block at the intersection of Bartlett and La Palma roads. Palacios said Wutzke never exceeded 35 mph.
Wutzke reportedly turned down a farm road approaching Palacios' road block and apparently caught sight of a car driven by Officer Brad Nareau approaching from the north.
