Like to go fast? What about your tires?

Can they, or should they, really be going as fast as you take them? Are they in good condition? No Dry rot, inflated properly? Are they the proper speed rating and load rating?

Take a look at these charts, you'll be better informed when you go for that new replacement tire.

I've got a 130/90 H rated tire which is tested at 130MPH and Stress tested to 210. It can hold a load of up to 805 Lbs. I know my replacement tire exceeds generously any load and speed condition I'll put it under.

I run Metzler, IMHO they can't be beat ;)

For sport tires....DUNLOP all the way...Z rating tooo!

Dunlop has come along way in tires over the last few years espeacially their radials, but I'm still sticking with the Metzler line up. For sport (82 750 Katana) it's the ME Kcomp for the street or the MEZ3 or the ME1 for the track both are excellent compounds.
For the Harley (84FLH) or heavier touring bike I recommend ME880 Marathon, A great tire in all road conditions and have an exception lifespan.
Custom sizes? yep they'll build'em as wide as you'd like'em ;)

I'm running Maxxis white wall on the real, and Dunlop white wall on the front.

I've run Continentals, Dunlops, and just switched to Metzlers. There is no doubt in my mind that the Metzler's grip the road better and inspire more riding confidence on wet roads. The rumored negative is that they tend to wear out more quickly. Since I've only put a couple of hundred miles on them, that rumor is still in the "experiment stage".
