We've got one here in Kingston....I've often wondered if I could make it:biggrin: . It's a bit of a pain in the ass, as it is on the only route into town from the east. Boaters have to go through it to get up and down the Rideau River which can get real busy. Needless to say traffic can get back for miles. :rolleyes:

I am not sure but it looks like one in florida. I live there and know it has a huge amount of them. They are slowly being replaced by taller bridges though. Some will still be around as there are not enough places that can use a taller bridge.

I know in the st. pete/Tampa area there are more than 10. Treasure island has 4 it's self.
Anywho... lemme know if you survive that jump..

There are hundreds of them up and down the Florida east coast just like that I'm sure. I dunno which on that is.

actually looks the the old one crossing over to clearwater beach. we have them on the west coast of florida too

I doubt it's Florida. Both of the bikers in the pics are wearing lids... and I don't think I've ever seen 2 bikers together in FL when both of them were wearing lids.

Of course I could be wrong.

I jump a bridge like that once in Madeira Beach with a Semi. I made it over but the car behind me didn't. :muahhaha:

Have you ever seen the swing bridges? They turn instead of lift up.

Tried to see the plates but they are so glared out that all I get is pixilation. I have a program that I am going to try (at work) that might help. But I dont remember what the florida plates look like for bikes...lol
