I just read your post about your ride to the Wall. Does this mean you might come over to the Dark-side and buy a Harley?:think2: Let's face it your Wing will never feel the same now that you have made a long trip on a Harley.:mooning:

No, I have to say that the ultra classic is a nice bike, and the equal for the most part of the Wing. The clutch on the HD is the best I have ever felt, bar none. I did 1800 and some odd miles on it, and I feel that was a fair test ride. The conclusion I came to is it's not the bike, but the people. I don't ride with many goldwingers because their just not as much fun as HD riders. And I have never had to deal with a HD snob on a ride. Just at work. And I think I have put more miles on the HD on that trip than he does all year.

the main reason I am not going to buy a HD is because I don't have the cash, and my credit is down the tubes. I also have 2 kids to think about. How would they handle the stigma of their Dad showing up on a "non-rice burner"?? :patriot:
