I don't see me lending it out for a weekend though. 84FLH 12-06-2004, 12:07 PM Only one person alive that I would trust my bike to. He's prolly closer to me than my own brother...besides he rides a real nice RoadKing so if anything were to happen to my bike it would only be a step up...LOL :) Other than that? NO!! :nono: tat2ed 12-06-2004, 07:05 PM Yea sure I have lots of friends that I would not hesitate. I know thier riding abilities and would have no problems with them taking it. And NO loaded, you can NOT borrow the bike. :BB1: trbeemer 03-07-2005, 01:10 PM One person, my son. I know his riding ability. He knows what I have gone without to afford this bike. He knows how I take care of it. FX 03-07-2005, 04:06 PM There are a few people that I'd let ride it, not take off for the weekend with it however unless they purchased an insurance policy for it to cover themselves. Damn it's such a subjective question. hondapop 03-08-2005, 11:52 PM hell no get ya own bike R K Dragon 03-09-2005, 07:20 AM I'd have to agree with hondapop almost all the time. panheader 03-09-2005, 08:01 PM No one rides my ride but me. By the same token, I won't ride a bike that's not mine. I don't even feel comfortable taking a factory demo out. JFN 03-11-2005, 01:09 PM Yea sure I have lots of friends that I would not hesitate. I know thier riding abilities and would have no problems with them taking it. And NO loaded, you can NOT borrow the bike. :BB1: I have one friend that I'll let borrow the "spare" bike to go riding with my wife and I. Like Tat said I know his abilities and he enjoys riding the 1200 sporty vs his old Honda. But NO.... he can't have it for the weekend. :) fredcrn 03-13-2005, 01:17 AM In a word...No! :Im not li FX 03-13-2005, 01:31 AM In a word...No! :Im not li Welcome to RiderInfo. Said he'd had LOTS of bikes. Rode 30 feet and fell over in the parking lot. Ouch! FX 04-03-2005, 06:48 PM Fellow manager at work had a salesman begging to ride his Roadking. LMAO! 84FLH 04-04-2005, 07:18 AM Fellow manager at work had a salesman begging to ride his Roadking. Said he'd had LOTS of bikes. Rode 30 feet and fell over in the parking lot. Ouch! ...And that is why I'm the only one that rides my bike;) chesshirecat 04-05-2005, 05:22 AM I've been riding my own since 1971. The only other people who have taken my bikes out...without me have been my mechanics. Period. I have taken chick friends to the local high schools over the years and showed em the basics...let them ride around the track with my bike...but even the guys I married or lived with...never...ever rode one of my bikes without me...on the back or beside em on their bike. I would never ask to ride someone elses bike...but I have been asked to ride them by thier owners for them for various reasons. I am also asked by dealerships and bike builders to ride their bikes...so they can get a female point of view of the bike...and I write articules for mags on these test runs. Other than that... what's mine is mine...what's yours is yours...ya can look but don't set your ass down unless ya ask first. Chessie FX 04-05-2005, 07:21 AM I've been riding my own since 1971. The second one , my idiot friend took out my 72 Z1 and proceeded to open it up then laid it down going in excess of 100 mph. OUCH>>>>>>>>He was worse than the bike, the case savers saved the bike. :signfool: :signfool: :signcrap: :signcrap: Now only to someone i know has common sense and is riding along side me so i can protect my investment. 84FLH 04-07-2005, 02:47 PM Now only to someone i know has common sense and is riding along side me so i can protect my investment.
