Front brake light switch?

Hi everyone! I recently took the advice of a mc mag. editor and loosened my handlebars and adjusted them to my comfort level. Now my brake light doesn't work when I apply the front brake. The back one still works fine. Any ideas on what may have happened and how to repair the problem?

Sorry, Forgot to add, this happened on my '04 Sporty.

I don't have the new upper controls, but if the older style the brake pull handle had to be snug up against the switch housing to work right.

Could either of those moved if this is an issue for the late model controls too?

You may have pinched a wire. Not enough to break the plastic insulation, just pinched enough to break the wire inside. The way to tell is pull or twist, if the insulation streches the wire inside is broken.
