When I'm travelling with the bags I'm carrying clothes, rain gear, a small propane stove, a radio, a few more tools, maps, a couple beers, and of course a bottle of irish creme and a hair dryer for the little lady. joseccastaneda 06-04-2005, 05:33 PM Tools, and two changes of face shields. Funny though, that i don't even use the helmet that needs those face shields. The right side bag doesn't have anything since it has a hole in one side. I also have a handlebar bag and it has tools also. Although, those were there when I bought the bike. I just put in a CO2 cartridge tire inflator (looks like a small can of mace). I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds good in theory. FX 06-04-2005, 05:51 PM Tools, and two changes of face shields. Funny though, that i don't even use the helmet that needs those face shields. Listen for hissing sound and watch for deflation. If either of the above are observed. Yep, you have a flat! :moped: R K Dragon 06-06-2005, 10:12 AM Tools, rainsuit, air pressure gauge, couple of bungie cords, cargo net, cleaner in spray bottle, spare relay, cap, rags, and a bottle of water. bigwater 07-19-2005, 12:13 PM HAH! Who needs a rain suit? Bunch of pansies. If you can't stand getting wet you shouldn't be on a bike. My saddlebags usually contain a set of hex wrenches, a couple of standard wrenches of the common size you would need for emergency maintenance, a pair of clear goggles in case I get caught out at night, a small flask with vodka in it for those cold rides when I get wet because I don't carry a rain suit :) Unfortunately, I don't like the looks of my bike with saddlebags, so I usually leave the bags at home, so it doesn't really matter what's in them. |
