American Legion Riders Food Bank Poker Run

-The American Legion Riders Chapter 219 of Fruitland Park Florida will host their 2nd Annual Poker Run to benefit the Fruitland Park Food Bank on August 2, 2008. Motorcyclist registration for the poker run will begin at 10:00am and the last bike out is set for 11:00am. The cost will be $5.00 per person plus a non-perishable food item.

The poker run will begin at the American Legion Post 219, 102 S Dixie Ave, Fruitland Park, Florida 34731. The ride will then continue to six more stops.

VFW Post 8087, Mount Dora
Eagles 4273, Okahumpka
Crossroads Inn, Hyw 42/301
VFW Post 8083, Belleview
MaBarkers, Oklawaha
County Line Package and Lounge, Weirsdale

There will be door prizes, raffles, auctions music food and fun at the County Line where the run ends.

The Fruitland Park food drive poker run was a big hit. The American Legion Riders did one hell job. Thanks guys my wife & I had a great time and we meet alot of people. I took pictures of the run and I will get them posted. Thanks again

Hey fokes, My wife & I were on the last food drive we had a great time meet alot of fokes and helped out some with people we did not know. They had a nice long ride for the run & things turn out great. Hope to see you all on this one.

I like the food drive idea, another for the community by the community event. I gave the Lake County Food Drive an event countdown box on the home page.
