Come join us on a fun run benefit for Tom Vermillion (aka. Tom the Bomb, Yankee Tom), who has stage 4 cancer, on Saturday August 20, 2011. Tom is a Veteran who served in the U.S. Navy from 1976 to 1980. He was an Aviation Ace ranked A03 Petty Officer 3rd Class. Not only has Tom served our country in the military, Tom has participated in countless benefit runs for down bikers and families in the Lake Weir and central Florida area. Tom is known to be the life of any party and loves life more then anyone we know.

The run will start off at Kool Kat Saloon and on to Fox Crossing Tavern both on CR25. The run then takes riders out to SR40 to The Back 40 Lounge and then the Cabin Pub. After that the run will continue to the Blue Heron Cove on SR42. The ride will end at the County Line Bar in Weirsdale on CR25.

After the run, riders and supporters will meet at the County Line Bar in Weirsdale on CR25 at 2PM to celebrate Tom's life while enjoying live music, fresh food, raffles, and more. Please join us, your support and donation will truly be appreciated.

Anyone wanting to help Rick, Diane, Darlene or the benefit in general are requested to do so via phone or in person. All three of these folks work hard in real life and are rarely on Facebook. We like to use facebook and forums to spread the word of benefits, but organizational discussions are best done in person or on the phone. Diane needs to have a record of what is being done to avoid redundancies and overruns. Thank you.
