Wheel bearings

Just a reminder folks, Spring is arriving and it's getting to be time to get everything shipshape for the season. If you don't have bearings on your list of things to check on add it to the list. Ya just might be able to avoid something like this ;)

Good advice, there are many things that we may take for granted that need frequent maintnance.

BTW, what a mess ya got that!

I learnt my lesson and if someone else can learn from it without having to go through the grief, great. A real mess it was, cost me a new axle and all spacers over and above bearings :bah: Least the rim didn't get damaged. :D

One other thing, if you discover that you have bearings/chases that need to be replaced you can get the exact same ones at a bearing outlet for a fraction of the cost the dealership is going to charge ya ;)
