In honor of the life of Seth Jarrard, a benefit rock fest was organized by local bands at the County Line Bar in Weirsdale, Florida, on Sunday, August, 9, 2009. Seth lost his life in a tragic ATV accident on July 13, 2009.

The organizers of the event, Sonny Whitehead of Vocal Drop and Eric Spence of Shaky Puddin', wanted to aid the family with closing some of Seth's affairs.

Attendees of the rock fest were treated to the sounds of five different bands as well as acoustic guitar solo and duet performances. Featured on Acoustic guitar was Patrick Hagerman. The bands that performed in order were Eleven 29, Baker Act, Shaky Puddin', Unchained Chaos and Vocal Drop. Diorella stopped by and performed an acoustic set too.

While the bands rocked out the audience was taking part in raffles, auctions, and a roasted pork dinner. All the proceeds were donated to Seth's family. The dinner meat was provided by Winburn and Renee and prepared by Rick and Sandy. Many others cooked and donated side dishes.

The dinners were served by the volunteers and staff of the County Line Bar. Diane Miller, Rue and Heidi were helping with the raffles as well among the many other volunteers, perhaps too many to name and some left anonymous. Ann, one of the many volunteers and or staff at the County Line, said that Wennie, Bonnie, Ann, Tangee, Autumn, Nickki, Jeanie and Westly all helped make the event a success.

There was no doubt at all left at the end of the event that all of the efforts of the volunteers, bands and community were appreciated by Seth's family. Oli, Seth's Grandfather, gave a heart felt thank you to all when presented with the donations the event raised. Seth's brother, Shea, was presented a guitar autographed by all the bands in honor of Seth. Seth's Grandmother, Marcia and Shawn the fiance of Lori, Seth's Mother accompanied Shea.

At the end of the event, Sonny asked me to make sure everyone got a big thank you on his behalf and said, ride safe!

You won't be forgotten, Seth. Rest in peace.
