I'm just rolling in from last night's Fleetwood Mac concert (I'm getting in late from work - not play). What a show! The Mac ROCKED! Lindsley Buckingham is a guitar God! Stevie Nicks can still SING. I have been really pleasantly surprised of late from seeing band's where they're "getting on in age" (aren't we all); the Fleetwood Mac I saw last night was great for any age (IMHO, they were better than in the seventies in some ways). Buckingham has gotten unbelievably great at the guitar. The crowd was really into the show - singing along with every song. If you get a chance to see them this tour - do.

Soundgarden - Rusty Cage
I'm trying to psych myself up to write a paper. It's not working. Neither is the sludge-like coffee I brewed in the hopes of being revitalized by caffeine. It should be noted that I had Thursday and Friday off due to flooding at work and could have easily done this then . . . but didn't. And now it's looking sunny for the moment and all I want to do is head to the beach so I can lay around some more.
