It's supposed to be rainy and cloudy today. No beach. I'm bummed.
I went to a friend's house last night for a get-together. They had a few local musicians there playing - guitar, mandolin, banjo, and stand-up bass. It was great. They were doing some origional country/bluegrass songs the guitar player had written; he's very good and is talking to Vince Gill about doing a couple of them. The mandolin player was awesome - VERY fast on that and the guitar (he played a couple on that too). It was a good time w/ good people!
