    Smile Sturgis: First Timer !

    Just got back from my first ride to Sturgis {66} Stayed at the Shade Valley campground for $15 per night, a great campground. Did some day rides to Mt. Rushmore, Devils Tower, Bad Lands and stopped at Custer's Last Stand on the way down. Sturgis was great by the day and even better at night. The Full Throttle Saloon is an event in itself!! Bought the T-shirts a few parts and got my first tattoo. The weather was hot with the odd welcome thunder shower although I hit a killer rain storm west of Billings Mont. on the way home. My total mileage for the trip from Vancouver to Sturgis and day rides was over 5,000 km or 3,000 miles. Let's hear from some other riders who went.
