The City of Leesburg puts on a great time for everyone. All the City officials embrace the weekend so you can be sure of a good time.

Big thanks to Joe Shipes and his staff at the Leesburg Partnership for their efforts putting Leesburg Bikefest together!

Last years Leesburg Bikefest motorcycle rally was great! Top quality bands and shows were to be found everywhere on main street. Here are last years Leesburg Bikefest photos that we took.

Rat's Hole Custom Bikeshow, Drill team Demonstrations, Biker games, Trails Rider-Adam Holbrook, Bands on all three stage all day and night long, Headliner Band at 8:00 PM on the Gator Harley-Davidson Stage. Over 200 Vendors!

Sunday, April 30, 2006 -"The Party in the Street continues!"
Blessing of the Bikes, Music on all three stages, More Trial rider & Drill Team Demonstrations, Strongman Contest, Biker Games and Vendors.

The Gator Harley Davidson Stage is at Towne Square
The Budweiser Stage is At First Ave
And the new Stage at the corner of Canal and Main
Please note all stage locations, schedules and activities
    are subject to change.

We hope to see you there this year.

I have not planned anything. The strangers out of town offered a bit more hospitality then the bars in Leesburg were willing to offer. So I have not tried again with Leesburg and actually thought of skipping it and going out of town.

But, if anyone knows of a bar that will host us for the beer and food biz, holler. So far I have no ideas.

It was fantastic. I think the is going to be a record breaking Leesburg Bikefest I have about 12 rolls of film in for processing and will post those pics. We had a huge crowd.

Joe Shipes, David O and the Leesburg Partnership did a great job, again, this year. We look forward to many more to come and that you will be here with us next time.

The locals were all there as volunteers and helping as were others that were not local. Immortalbitch was on a corner too! For a few hours help the City takes good care of the volunteers. It's great to see so much local pride.

Saturday we had puddin' wrestling at the Magnolia Oyster Bar. Thanks to them for hosting the event and sharing their tent. We had a great time there. We used the Mag as a home base. They did a great job hosting us at the Magnolia Oyster bar. It's on First Street and Magnolia Avenue in Leesburg. Get there and enjoy a cold beer and fresh oysters some time. You are bound to meet some of the Leesburg Bikefest regulars if you do.

P.S. It was so busy here, Saturday we overloaded and shut down the nextel direct connect system. I hope they improve it by next year.

Glad to hear that everyone gad such a great time. I get four weeks next year, and much of that time will be spent in Florida. I have actually been entertaining the thought of taking a job down there so that the weather can stop interrupting my riding season. Go figure, put a woman in charge of the weather and she tries her damnest to keep us out of the saddle. (Mother Nature)

I'm tired. Thankfully the fest was only three days and not a week. I would not have lasted.

And I have a feeling that these pics could be a tad embarassing. Oh well.

    Gotta go now!
