Rolling Thunder Ride for the Wall

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this.

The National Veterans Awareness Ride will stop in Northwest Indiana on the way to the Wall in Washington D.C.

The Northwest Indiana segment of the ride will start on May 24th at 8:00 AM (centeral time) at the American Legion John Franklin Miller Post 37, 756 East U.S. 20, Michigan City, IN. There will be a breakfast at 6:00 AM, and a ceremony at 7:00 AM. There is a riders meeting at 7:30 AM and the ride leaves at 8:00 AM. The ride will run down to West Lafayette to visit the Indiana State Veterians Home there.

All riders and all bikes are invited. In past rides, there have been as many as 180 bikes.

For more infomation, call Steve "Headdog" Moore, Indiana ride coordinator for NVAR and president of The Wall Gang, at 219-872-3738 or 219-873-5910

I hope you enjoy the ride. When I lived up north I rode to the wall every year rain or shine.

    Hoping to go this year................

As an honorably discharged veteran of the USMC, and a bike rider, I hope to make that ride this year.
