new to street bikes

Howdy ya'll from sunny south Florida. The price of gas got me so angery last summer that I decided to start rideing a old rd 200 that I had got to restore and sell. I rebuilt the carbs, coated the gas tank, put in a new battery and quick as that I'm getting 55 mpg and haveing a ball rideing the little bugger. It aint no Harley but it gets the job done.

55 MPG sounds great. Where in South FL are you from? I used to live in Naples, and did a lot of riding down there.

I have been born, raised and raised my own sons in beautiful Homestead, Florida, it's 30 miles south of Miami. The devolopers are trying their hardest to yank the soul out of our town and make it into another cookie cutter suburbane urbane sprawl but for now it's still liveable. I'll post a pic of the bike as soon as I get the film devoloped in my camera. I keep killing digital cameras and my wife won't let me have another.
