No safe answer. Maybe they are equally good. Get a big one, 500cc. Get a helmet, license - lerners permit, insurance, gloves, boots, riding class ... get it all.

Thebighop is going thru the change, complete with mood swing, fanatisism...gets lost in Arizona, no sence of Yuma. You will never get his training wheels from him.

I like the Suzuki Burgman 650 with ABS the best.

I have a pic of it somewhere...I'll post it to ya if I find it.

I have started to just stall at a stop light or stop sign, unless I see a cop. It is a pain in the knee to put my left foot down. If I see a cop, I stop with the front brake only and land on the right foot. When that knee goes, I'll just take the ticket and pay the fine. Maybe I can work up some retractable landing gear with the money I saved not paying thebighop's Rehab.

ABS, Anti-lock Braking System puts those scooters in a class above the rest. It won't stop any faster but, any amount of control in a panic situation is a good thing. It beats "Steer where you are going to crash".
