I really like the point made here-
put another vehicle between your bike and the possibilty of someone running the upcoming traffic signal/redlight & you cut your chances of getting hit in 1/2.

Must remember this this one. Although they are all great

In a car it was pick an object at the side of the road that the vehicle ahead had just passed and say "only a fool breaks the two second rule" if you passed the object before finishing you were going too fast for breaking, with the bike this changed to

"Only a fool breaks the two second rule, any faster than that your being a prat".

Ron's still here, just not working for you any more... your call, not mine. We had a lot of participation when I was an administrator here.

I can come back on staff and give it a little TLC if you want...

Hehe... I think it's more like agree to agree that I don't need to work for you What's the old saying about too many cooks in the kitchen and all that stuff?

I still love you bro... but I don't mean that in a gay way so don't get all teary eyed on me.
