    Lie Detector

John was a travelling salesman who was always on the look-out for any new gizmo that he could try to sell. One day he came home and told his wife he had bought a robot. Not just any robot but one that was a lie detecting robot. It would take it three or four hours to charge up and then he'd show her how it works.

Later that evening as John and his wife were trying out the robot their fifteen year old son, Billy came home. He was three hours late and John asked him why he was late.

"Me and the guys went down to the library to work on some extra credit stuff for school."

The robot walked around the table and slapped Billy off the chair.

John explained to his son that it was a lie detecting robot and there was no use in lying as it would be able to tell. "So, again, why were you late?" he asked Billy.

"We were and Freddy's house watching a movie," he said.

    "What movie?" John asked.

    "Ummm, The Ten Commandments."

Again the robot walked around the table and slapped Billy off the chair.

With a quivering lip Billy admitted they were watching the movie call The Sex Queen.

"I'm ashamed of you," John told him. "When I was your age I never lied to my parents and I never sneaked around watching filthy movies."

The robot got up and punched John so hard he went flying through the patio door and out onto the patio.

When he staggered back into the kitchen his wife was doubled over from laughing at him. "Boy! Did you ever ask for that one. I guess you can't be mad at Billy. After all, he is your son."

The robot got up and slapped the crap out of John's wife.

The mailman may knock twice, but the UPS man comes three times.
