    On/Off Road Rider

Due to my location (White Mountains of NH) I chose to go with an on/off road motorcycle in my decling years (next year 50). I have found great enjoyment in trail, dirt, loggin and hard top roads. I purchased a KLR 650 with one lung last summer (just in time for bike week in Laconia). I have been riding since I was 13 and have had a wide variety of bikes. We have a Honda CR85R in the shed as well. For my mid life crisis I chose a big dirt bike!

Love to ride and Hi to all the riders on this site!

Ricky Roadking I take it you are an Elvis fan? Costello of course. I picked up the lyrics in your signature. One of my all time favorite songs!

It is quite fitting for Roadkill. He is very easily amused.

Yes - I am a fan. I got the opportunity to see Elvis play about 6 months ago w/ BW and another friend. He was great! We almost got arrested on the way home, but that's another story .

Welcome aboard klr. Good choice in bikes. Where I live now, I am surrounded by game lands and I am really just starting to look into an on/off machine. I was looking at the Buell Ulysses, and some of the Paris Dakkar machines. I would also be interested in seeing some pics and an indepth review of your KLR. I have an RM 250 that is just about ready to hit the dirt again, and a couple of 4 wheelers that my son and I putt around on. Have fun, Be safe.
