Greek Festival!!!!

St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church - 129 N. Halifax Ave. Daytona Beach (Beachside on the River).

November 13 - 16
Thursday 11:00am until 10:00pm, Friday and Saturday 11 AM - 10 PM, Sunday 11:00am - 8 PM.

There is an entrance fee but the church's web site is down. I think it might be $5.

The food is freakin' fantastic. The ouzo will make you sick if you drink too much of it, but you'll be really happy before you get sick. (Ricky - expect a drunken phone call on Saturday.)

I didn't call EVERYBODY. Just a few "special" people.

But I digress . . . the food!!!!! There are trays and trays of beautiful cookies, and baklava, and lamb, and spanakopita, and doughballs drizzled in honey, and dolmas . . . I need to stop getting myself all worked up. I have a few days to wait.

And you might see a dolphin.
