I went to the beach today, like I do everyday. The water is the clearest I have ever seen it in the Daytona area. When the waves crest, right before they break, you can see through them. Today I saw a manatee which was pretty freaky. I saw this huge black shape swim by me about 10 feet away. At first I thought it was just a lost surfboard, because the size of the shape was comparable to the size of a board. Then I saw a fin so I thought it was a dolphin and I was afraid it was going to beach itself. But the lifeguard filled me in that it was a manatee. There was a huge stingray sighting up the beach a little north of where I was. It nonchalantly swam between two swimmers. I'm sure all these things are there at any other time too but you can't see them.
Time for my afternoon nap. I'm not used to this much excitement.
