The Lake County Motorcyclists 12th Annual Toy Run to support Kids Inc. Foster Children of Lake County and The Haven Abuse Center of Lake and Sumter will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2007. The Toy Run Parade leaves at 11:00 AM Sharp from the old Winn Dixie parking lot on the south end of Leesburg on US27. The Florida Department of Revenue is in there now.

The meet up begins around 10:00AM and the run parade will have a police escort to lead the motorcycles through town on the ride to Wooten Park in Tavares. There will be a Presentation of the toys to KIDS Inc. At approximately 1 PM. After the presentation the ride will continue to Yalaha for the raffles, prizes, food and entertainment by the Jimmy Sparks Band.

For the past 11 years the Lake County Motorcyclists have supported these causes and because of your participation, the annual Toy Run has been a great success each year. Motorcyclists on hundreds of bikes have rode on the run each year and they have helped raise tens of thousands of dollars for KIDS Inc. and The Haven.

This year there is a 2007 Harley-Davidson FXD DYNA Super Glide motorcycle being raffled to help support the Lake County Motorcyclists Toy Run. Tickets for a chance to win are $10.00 each and only 2500 tickets will be sold. Tickets are almost gone; get yours in advance by contacting Gumbo.

Please come and ride with us on Saturday, November 24, 2007, and help make Christmas special for the children and women in the care of these fine organizations that operate in and for our own community.

Hey does anyone know yet if we have plenty of cages this year to carry toys or do I need to run the van again this year to put the toys in?

Went on the toy run and had lots of fun the after party was great. Alot of stuff was given away and sold for the kids, The slow race was alot of fun to watch and be a part of. I want to thank everybody for coming out, you guys & gals did alot, see you all next year at the toy run.

Penny and I went on the run and had a great time as always. Everyone did a great job and deserve a special thanks for doing what they do for the KIDS.
This run was special. We got to meet the children:. I had the pleasure to meet a Foster Mom and her three Girls. These young ladies were so nice and I am so very happy that I had a chance to meet them. I offered to take a picture of all of them with Santa, after the picture was taken they would not let me leave until they got a picture of me with them, my heart just melted. So much for the big bad biker.
