 Biker Chick, Not Bad
I'm surprised the first and only review for this book was written over two years ago. Anyways, Biker Chick was a good read. Just good because it wasn't have-to-read great, but it was definitely far from boring and whack. Crystal Sells is 17 yr old, lives in a hood in Columbus, Ohio and sells bootleg cds and dvds, and fake purses to make her money. She lives with her mom and has two best friends Lala and Dymond. One day after walking with her girls to a convenient store, they run into the "Phantom Cruz", the hottest and most notorious motorcycle group in Columbus, known mostly for their drug dealing. Though Crystal swore she would never mess with a drug dealer especially from the Phanton Cruz, because it affected her family in a terrible way (you'd have to see why in the book), she gave one of the members, Ray, who holla'd at her and who she was a feeling, a chance. Soon they fall in love, move in together, and their life is great because Ray is making so much dough, and of course they both cant get enough of their steels (Ray buys Crystal one and she becomes attached to it the way he is to his). But unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. Ray is taken out of Crystal's life, leaving her devastated, homeless, and having to figure out how she's gonna make it. But when Lala invites Crystal to the strip club to work, things begin to pick up again. Crystal even comes up with a grand idea the strip club has never even thought of before, and it works making EVERYONE richer and things for Crystal better than she would've thought. Crystal is now on a ROLL and her life is coming together fast, until she learns a secret from one of the club managers that she would've never in a million yrs thought would've heard. Crystal wants revenge on the person who she cant believe could've done this her, and it may cost her everything. Can Crystal stop before its too late and who will win? The last thing I loved about this book was the unusual themes that you don't find in other urban fiction books. The whole motorcycle and gray hair themes were interesting and put a nice unique touch on the book. 4/5 for Ms. Dakota Knight and Biker Chick.

BIKER CHICK BY DAKOTA KNIGHT WAS A GOOD READ. BIKER CHICK IS ABOUT A GIRL NAME CRYSTAL SELLS WHO HUSTLES PURSES AND BOOTLEG DVDS AND CD'S TO MAKE ENDS MEET.CRYSTAL MEETS RAY WHO TURNS HER WHOLE WORLD AROUND. RAY IS A MEMBER OF A MOTORCYCLE GANG CALLED THE PHANTOM CRUZ AND HE MAKES CRYSTAL HIS ONE AND ONLY. WITH RAY RIDING A MOTERCYCLE IT MAKES CRYSTAL WANT ONE ALSO. CRYSTAL THINKS LIFE IS LOVELY UNTIL RAY IS SENT TO JAIL AND SHE HAS TO BE ON HER OWN ONCE AGAIN. CRYSTAL DECIDES TO TAKE MATTERS INTO HER OWN HAND AND STARTS HER OWN FEMALE BIKE CLUB. WILL CRYSTAL BE ABLE TO MAKE IT ON HER OWN OR WILL SHE JUST BE A BIKER CHICK.
